Gaelin, our veterinarian is a beautiful person, she is passionate and very sensitive towards pets and their family. She understands the love and the bond between her patients and their owners. In our time of need, she has always been there for us. We are very grateful to her.We wish to raise awareness of possible choking hazards, such as balls.Last Friday, we lost our 200 lb English Mastiff to a tragic accident. Moose, our gentle giant choked on his ball.My husband and I did everything we could to save him, Rodney injured his hand and wrist removing the ball from his throat, we gave him mouth to mouth and CPR but we were unsuccessful, Moose passed away.After the realization that we had lost our beautiful boy, our son and Rodney drove Moose to his veterinarian, Gaelin at Campbell Road Veterinary clinic, to ask for help, to ask that they take care of him until he can be cremated. Gaelin gave Rod and our son a hug filled with passion followed by supportive words. She then proceeded to take care of my husbands hand and wrist by cleaning and dressing his wounds while her husband and my son took Moose inside.It means so much to us that she cares so much not only for the pets but for the people who turn to her for help and support. Could not ask for a better team to take care of my animals! Great staff, always friendly, caring and professional. Would recommend them to anyone with pets they love as family. I can't say enough great things about this place. Thank you for being so wonderful!!!
