Really good Canadian Tire. One of the biggest ones. Staff are nice. Overall great place to shop.
Great store, lots of stock at good prices. Very clean store with friendly staff
Abysmal service. Computers show stock, but nobody interested in finding it. Was planning on purchasing a utility trailer, but they are kept in the garage. Of course you cant go in the garage unless youre accompanied by a staff. No one was available or interested in helping me. Drove up the street looked at one outside of Ronas and made the purchase. Silly business model. Keep your products where people can view them.
Auto Service sucks. You need to wait half an hour even if you made an appointment in advance. Super slow. Never come here.
My review concerns a vehicle safety inspection on a used vehicle I had recently purchased. First off I'm not a certified Automotive technician but am a nationally certified technician in one of the transportation fields for the past 30 years and have been doing my own vehicle maintenance for about 40 years. My vehicle was failed due to what the technician called leaking struts. He indicated all 4 needed replacement. I did not agree with this assessment and took the vehicle back. I had experienced no indication of poor road manners, vehicle bounce or oscillation, after bumps or irregular road surface. I downloaded the Ontario safety standard and brought it in with me to challenge the rejection. The managers and counter staff were respectful and agreed that even if the struts were leaking (which I contend are not) the standard was vague in this area only referring to damage other than normal wear. Now the story changed to include failing the bounce test and road test, which I also know the vehicle should pass. To shorten up the story they allowed me to bring it back in for a retest and it passed, without any work done to the vehicle. Moral of the story is you have to know something of cars if you're bringing them in for maintenance. If I didn't have the confidence in my knowledge of cars and trucks, and the conviction to stand my ground I would have been in for a very large bill, maybe as much as ( I'm estimating) $1000. I'm giving them 2 stars only because the staff was respectful and receptive to me and my complaint. I have no issue with them. The technician gets nothing.
